Keep a way back to your data

Protect the information your firm needs to keep working. Backups for supported computers, servers, email, and cloud storage are configured around what you need to recover when data is lost or systems fail.

Professional Services

Migrations, new deployments, and major improvements are planned as professional services with their own scope.

Understand first. Build thoughtfully. Stay involved.

Our Approach

Technology decisions should support your business goals. We work with your leadership to set priorities, explain the options, and keep the plan aligned with where your firm is headed.

  1. Get the full picture.

Start with your people, projects, and existing systems. Understand the friction before recommending a fix.

  2. Make a workable plan.

Put risks, priorities, and costs in context. Agree on a path that fits your firm and the way you work.

  3. Follow through.

Manage the day-to-day systems, document changes, and help your people. Keep the conversation open so upcoming hires, projects, and business changes can be planned together.

The person behind Emberkom

I'm David Yoder, owner of Emberkom. I've been in business since 2013, helping businesses make their technology easier to rely on—and easier to understand—with deep experience in architecture, engineering, and construction.

My work brings together everyday support, complex migrations, security, and long-term planning. Whether we're resolving a frustrating issue or working through a major change, the approach is personal, patient, and grounded in what your business needs.

Technical depth. Human patience.

Work in practice

From moving years of files to helping people share them safely, the work goes beyond installing software. A few examples of the challenges Emberkom helps solve.

Built for an ongoing relationship.

A good fit

Emberkom typically works with firms of at least 10 people that want a trusted partner for IT support and direction. Smaller businesses are also considered according to their needs and the scope of the relationship. Most work happens remotely, serving US businesses with a focus on the East Coast.

IT for growing businesses. Deep experience in architecture, engineering & construction.

A few things you may be wondering.

Do we need to be near you?

No. Emberkom serves businesses in the United States and works primarily remotely. It is based in West Virginia, with a focus on the East Coast. On-site needs can be discussed as part of planning; Emberkom does not take on businesses outside the United States.

Can you help with a specific project?

Yes. Emberkom accepts standalone projects as well as projects for managed-service customers. Migrations, new deployments, major configuration changes, and employee onboarding or offboarding are planned as Professional Services with an agreed scope.

What support can you provide for business applications?

Emberkom has experience installing, configuring, migrating, and maintaining business applications, including software used in architecture, engineering, construction, and accounting. Assistance depends on the product, available vendor support, and agreed scope. Major upgrades and coordinated deployments are Professional Services; smaller tasks may fall within routine support.

Do we have to move everything to the cloud?

No. Emberkom assesses the applications, project files, people, and business requirements before recommending an approach. Some systems may belong in the cloud, some may stay local, and others may need to work together across both.

How do we get started?

Book a discovery call to discuss the business, roughly how many people need support, and what is prompting the search for help. A short explanation of the needs and current difficulties is enough to start the conversation.
